🎯 Tournament Recap – R&R Open Darts Dongewijk (May 18, 2025) 🎯

On Sunday, May 18th, the second edition of the R&R Open Darts Dongewijk Tournament took place at Café Dongewijk in Tilburg. While the number of participants was slightly lower than during the first edition – partly due to some last-minute cancellations because of football matches – the event was no less successful. The atmosphere was great, matches were competitive, and the level of play was impressively high.

Winners Bracket (KO A):
🥇 Quinn Sneeboer (only 14 years old!) surprised everyone by claiming the title.
🥈 Jeffrey Sparidaans, the 2025 Dutch Open champion, secured a solid second place.
🥉 Djowy Verhagen finished in third place.
🏅 Pim van der Heijden took fourth, after losing the match for third place.

Losers Bracket (KO B):
🥇 Joery van Domburgh came out on top.
🥈 Micha Butter finished second.
🥉 Darrel Griffith completed the podium.

🎯 Special Achievements:

• Most 180s: Jeffrey Sparidaans – 6
  
  

• Highest Finish: Leaco Claes – a clean 150, and an active player in our R&R Online Darts scene

  It was especially great to see several familiar faces from both the R&R Online Darts Competition® and the R&R Online Darts Ranking Tournaments.
  Leo Claes demonstrated once again why he’s one of our top online players with his brilliant 150 finish.
  And how amazing is it that Darrel Griffith and Emma Gibson flew in from England just to be part of the event? That’s true R&R spirit, isn’t it? 🇬🇧✈️

  The tournament was once again organized by the R&R Online Darts admin team, with special thanks to Jacqueline Geel, Chiel Dijkhof, and Robin Nolten.
  Unfortunately, Melford Barnes and Ainslee couldn’t be there – due to an expired passport and personal reasons – which meant our traditional admin team photo was incomplete this time.
