R&R Online Darts respects the privacy of all players and users of the R&R Online Darts application and website.
This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect, why we use it, how we protect it, and what rights you have regarding your information.
By using the R&R Online Darts application or related services, you acknowledge the practices described in this Privacy Policy.
R&R Online Darts is an online darts competition platform operated under the name R&R Online Darts Competition®.
The application supports multiple R&R competitions, including:
R&R Online Darts Competition® (Nakka)
R&R Online Darts Competition® (Scolia)
Each competition operates separately within the application. An account in one competition does not automatically provide access to another competition.
Depending on how you use the application, we may collect and process the following information:
When you create an account, we may collect:
First name and surname
Competition/player name
Email address
Password or authentication information
Selected email language
Competition-specific information
Account status and registration information
For Scolia competition accounts, we may also process a Scolia Player ID where required for participation.
To operate the competitions, we process information such as:
Player and opponent names
Division and league
Match schedules
Match results
Match statistics
Rankings
Tournament results
Competition history
No-show and cancellation information where applicable
Administrative records related to competition participation
Some of this information is displayed to other participants as part of the normal operation of the competition.
Players may optionally upload a profile photo.
Profile photos are stored within the R&R Online Darts system and may be displayed in the player's profile within the application.
A profile photo is optional and is not required to participate in the competition.
We process email addresses and communication preferences in order to send important messages relating to:
Account registration
Email verification
Account approval
Match scheduling
Match changes or cancellations
Other competition-related notifications
Administrative communication
Players can select the language in which automated emails are received.
When creating an account, users are required to verify their email address.
A verification email is sent to the email address provided during registration.
Verification confirms that the user has access to the provided email address. Email verification does not automatically approve a player for participation in a competition. Competition accounts may still require approval by an R&R administrator.
Verification links may be single-use, expire after a certain period, and may become invalid when a new verification email is requested.
We use personal information only where necessary to operate and improve R&R Online Darts.
This includes:
Creating and managing player accounts
Verifying email addresses
Approving competition accounts
Organising matches
Allowing players to schedule matches
Recording results and statistics
Maintaining rankings and competition history
Sending competition-related emails and notifications
Providing administrative support
Preventing misuse of the application
Maintaining security
Troubleshooting technical problems
Improving the reliability and functionality of the application
We do not use player information for purposes unrelated to the operation of R&R Online Darts unless otherwise explained to the user or required by law.
Players can select their preferred language for automated R&R Online Darts emails.
When an automated email needs to be sent in a language other than the original language, the message may be translated using an AI-assisted translation service.
The purpose of this processing is solely to provide competition-related communication in the language selected by the player.
Names, dates, match information and other relevant factual information are intended to remain unchanged during translation.
If automated translation cannot be completed, the system may send the original English version to ensure that important competition communication is not lost.
R&R administrators may send competition-related emails to individual players.
When administrators create an email, the system may perform an automated spelling and grammar check before the message is sent.
The purpose of this check is to help administrators send clear and understandable communication.
The administrator remains responsible for the final content of the message.
Some information is displayed within the application because it is necessary for the operation of the competitions.
Depending on the competition and the relevant feature, this may include:
Player name
Competition/division
Match information
Match results
Rankings
Statistics
Tournament results
Profile information
Private account information such as passwords and authentication credentials is not displayed to other players.
Email addresses are not intended to be publicly displayed as part of the normal competition interface.
R&R Online Darts may use third-party service providers to operate the application and its services.
These providers may support functions such as:
Hosting
Database storage
Authentication
Email delivery
Security
Application infrastructure
Automated translation
Spelling and grammar assistance
Such providers may process information only as necessary to provide the relevant service.
R&R Online Darts does not sell player personal information to third parties.
We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal information against unauthorised access, loss, misuse or disclosure.
Access to administrative information is restricted to authorised R&R administrators where necessary for the operation of the competitions.
Authentication credentials are handled through the application's authentication system and are not accessible to ordinary players or administrators as plain-text passwords.
We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary to operate the R&R Online Darts competitions and provide related services.
Competition information such as historical rankings, match results and statistics may be retained as part of the competition's historical records.
Where information is no longer required for the operation of the service, it may be deleted or anonymised where appropriate.
Different types of information may therefore be retained for different periods depending on their purpose.
Players may request deletion of their R&R Online Darts account and associated personal information.
To request account deletion, please contact an R&R administrator through the official R&R Online Darts support channels.
When a valid deletion request is received, R&R Online Darts will delete personal account information that is no longer required for legitimate operational, legal or security purposes.
Certain competition records, such as historical match results, rankings or statistics, may need to be retained as part of the integrity and historical record of the competition. Where appropriate, personal information in such records may be anonymised rather than removed.
R&R Online Darts is not specifically directed at children.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children for purposes unrelated to participation in the competition.
If you believe that a child has provided personal information without appropriate permission, please contact R&R Online Darts so that the matter can be reviewed.
The website and application may use technically necessary cookies, local storage or similar technologies to maintain sessions, authentication and basic functionality.
The application does not require access to the user's precise geographic location for normal operation.
We do not use precise location tracking as part of the R&R Online Darts competition.
The application or website may contain links to external websites or services, including services used for darts platforms, tournaments or other competition-related purposes.
R&R Online Darts is not responsible for the privacy practices of external websites.
We recommend reviewing the privacy policy of any external service you choose to use.
