1. GENERAL PROVISIONS
1.1 Competition Overview
The R&R Scolia Competition is an online darts competition in which players compete against each other using the Scolia system.
The competition consists of several divisions, with players grouped according to their skill level and playing average.
Our objective is to ensure that every participant competes against opponents of a similar standard whenever possible.
The Premier League represents the highest level within our competition.
Each participant is generally required to play one match per competition week.
At the end of each season, promotions and relegations take place in accordance with the competition structure.
The organisation reserves the right to adjust the division structure whenever necessary to maintain a balanced and competitive environment.
1.2 Registration and New Players
New players are always welcome to apply for participation in the R&R Scolia Competition.
Registration takes place through our official application:
However, registration does not automatically guarantee participation.
The organisation considers the following factors:
The number of available places.
The total number of registrations.
The player's skill level and playing average.
The overall composition of the divisions.
New players will generally be placed in the lowest division. However, the organisation may make exceptions to prevent significant differences in playing ability.
All participants are expected to communicate clearly, remain sufficiently available to play their matches and show respect towards fellow players and administrators.
1.3 Early Withdrawal
If a player decides to withdraw from the competition before the end of the season, all matches played by that player and their associated results will be removed from the competition records.
This also means that the results and statistics earned by opponents in those matches will be deleted.
A player who withdraws early will not be eligible to participate in the following four seasons.
After this period, the player may register again. Participation will remain subject to available places and approval by the organisation.
In exceptional circumstances, the organisation may review the situation individually.
1.4 Player Replacement
When a player leaves the competition during an ongoing season, the following rules apply:
Only in the lowest division (Division 4) may a replacement player from the waiting list be introduced during the first two competition weeks.
If no suitable replacement is available, the vacant position will be marked as a BYE.
Matches against a BYE are not played.
When a new player joins as a replacement, all scheduled matches against that player must be completed.
Even if a participant has already played against the player who withdrew, the match against the replacement must still be played.
1.5 Fair Play and Integrity
Fairness and sportsmanship are the foundation of our competition.
Every player is expected to complete their matches honestly, correctly and transparently.
If irregularities, incorrect scores or unsportsmanlike behaviour are suspected, players should first attempt to resolve the matter calmly with their opponent.
If no agreement can be reached, an administrator may be contacted.
📹 Recording Matches
Administrators cannot directly watch ongoing matches through Scolia.
We therefore strongly recommend that all players record their matches, including both video and audio.
In the event of a dispute, these recordings may be submitted as evidence.
Without sufficient evidence, administrators may be unable to investigate or resolve a dispute.
Accusations without supporting evidence will not automatically be accepted.
1.6 Definition of NP (Not Played)
NP stands for Not Played and is assigned when a player fails to fulfil their match obligations.
This may occur when a player:
Fails to attend a confirmed match appointment.
Repeatedly fails to respond to attempts to schedule a match.
Does not complete a match within the required deadline without a valid reason.
Refuses to cooperate in arranging a match.
⚠️ A second NP results in removal from the competition.
All results achieved by the player will be deleted, including the corresponding results and statistics of their opponents.
The vacant position will then be marked as a BYE unless a replacement is permitted under Article 1.4.
An NP is assigned by the administrators based on available communication, agreements and supporting evidence.
1.7 Contact and Support
For questions, technical difficulties, disputes or other competition-related issues, players may contact the administration team through Facebook Messenger.

2. COMPETITION STRUCTURE
2.1 Divisions and Group Allocation
The R&R Scolia Competition is organised into several competitive levels.
The provisional division structure is as follows:
Level
Division
1
Premier League
2
Division 1A – 1B
3
Division 2A – 2B
4
Division 3A – 3B
5
Division 4A – 4B
The organisation may increase or decrease the number of groups at each level depending on the number of registered players.
Group allocation is designed to create the most balanced competition possible.
2.2 Promotion and Relegation
At the end of each season, the final standings determine promotion and relegation.
⬆️ Promotion
As a general rule, the top two players in each division will be promoted to a higher level, except in the Premier League.
⬇️ Relegation
As a general rule, the bottom two players in each division will be relegated to a lower level, except in the lowest division.
Exceptions
The organisation reserves the right to introduce additional promotions, relegations or changes to the division structure.
Such adjustments may be necessary when:
New players with significantly higher averages join the competition.
Major differences in skill level arise.
The number of groups changes.
Players withdraw from the competition.
Changes are required to maintain balanced divisions.
The purpose of these adjustments is always to maintain a fair and competitive environment.
Colour codes in the standings:
🟢 Green = Promotion position
🔴 Red = Relegation position
These colours are indicative until the final division structure for the following season has been confirmed.
3. MATCH REGULATIONS
3.1 Code of Conduct
Every participant must behave respectfully towards opponents, fellow players and administrators.
Insults, threats, intimidation, discrimination and any other form of unsportsmanlike behaviour will not be tolerated.
📹 Mandatory Live View
During every match, Live View must remain enabled for the entire duration of the match.
Both players must be able to see their opponent's dartboard.
Intentionally disabling or obstructing Live View is prohibited.
🎯 Removing Darts Before the Next Throw
A player may only begin throwing once their opponent has removed all darts from the board.
If a player throws too early:
The throw will be declared invalid.
No score correction will be made to validate the throw afterwards.
🌐 Connection Issues
In the event of serious connection problems, players are requested to temporarily stop the match.
If necessary, the match should be resumed at a later time.
We strongly advise against continuing a match when the connection is unreliable.
Persistent problems must be reported to an administrator.
3.2 Match Scheduling and Deadlines
Every player will be added to the Messenger group corresponding to their division.
These groups are used to share match schedules, important announcements and results.
📅 Match Scheduling
Players are responsible for arranging their matches directly with their opponents.
Appointments should preferably be arranged through private messages.
Every player is expected to take an active and cooperative approach to scheduling matches.
⏰ Cancelling Appointments
A confirmed match appointment must be cancelled at least 90 minutes before the scheduled starting time.
Late cancellations may result in an NP, depending on the circumstances and the administrators' assessment.
⌛ Late Arrival
If an opponent does not arrive at the agreed starting time, a minimum waiting period of 30 minutes applies.
Example:
Match scheduled for 20:00 → wait until at least 20:30.
After this period, the situation may be reported to an administrator.
An NP or forfeit may only be officially confirmed by the administrators.
📆 Match Deadlines
Matches must be completed no later than the end of the following competition week.
Examples:
Week 1 match → deadline: end of Week 2.
Week 4 match → deadline: end of Week 5.
If this is not possible, the provisions of Article 3.3 apply.
🏖️ Holidays, Illness and Unavailability
Players who know in advance that they will be temporarily unavailable must inform the administrators as early as possible.
With the organisation's approval, matches may be played in advance or rescheduled.
3.3 Postponed Matches
If a match cannot be completed within the normal deadline, both players must take appropriate action in time.
The following conditions are mandatory:
1. Both players must arrange a new match date before the original deadline expires.
2. The new appointment must be clearly confirmed by both players.
3. The agreed date and time must be communicated to an administrator.
4. The administrators will register the appointment in the competition records.
A postponed match may take place at a later date, provided the appointment was arranged in time and accepted by the organisation.
Important: Simply agreeing on a new date without informing an administrator does not automatically grant an extension.
If no clear appointment or communication can be demonstrated, the administrators may assign an NP.
3.4 Number of Legs per Division
The match format depends on the division in which a player competes.
Division
Format
Possible Final Score
Premier League
Best of 12
First to 7 / 6–6
Division 1

A match ends when a player reaches the required number of legs or when the maximum number of scheduled legs has been played.
Draws are permitted.
3.5 Score Corrections and Automatic Approval
⚠️ IMPORTANT – MANDATORY SETTING FOR ALL PLAYERS
To prevent disputes, misunderstandings and potential irregularities during matches, the following rules regarding score corrections apply.
3.5.1 Disabling Automatic Approval
Every player is required to set the following option in their Scolia settings:
"Automatically Approve Score Corrections"
to OFF by default.
This setting must be correctly configured before the start of every match and must remain disabled throughout the entire match.
It is each player's personal responsibility to check this setting.
3.5.2 Score Corrections During Matches
If a player wishes to correct an incorrect score, they must inform their opponent before making the correction.
The opponent must have the opportunity to review and approve the correction.
Making score corrections without consulting the opponent is not permitted.
3.5.3 Disputes and Complaints
If a player has failed to disable automatic approval and this results in a dispute or disagreement, the administrators will be unable to investigate or resolve the dispute when no independently verifiable evidence is available.
In such cases, responsibility lies with the player who failed to apply the mandatory setting correctly.
The organisation cannot be held responsible for disputes or unverifiable score corrections resulting from a player's failure to disable this setting.
However, the administrators reserve the right to intervene when clear evidence of intentional misuse, manipulation or unsportsmanlike conduct is available.
🎯 Please check this setting before every match. This helps prevent unnecessary disputes and ensures a fair competition for everyone.
3.6 Permitted Dartboards
Only standard dartboards suitable for official matches and compatible with the Scolia system are permitted.
The dartboard and Scolia system must be correctly installed and calibrated.
Each player is responsible for ensuring that their equipment functions properly.
3.7 Match Platform and Settings
All matches must be played through the official Scolia platform.
Invitation and Bull Throw
The player listed first in the official match schedule is responsible for inviting their opponent through Scolia.
This player has the right to throw for the bull first.
Mandatory Match Settings
Before starting the match, both players must verify the following settings:
Game type: 501
Match format: Best of according to the division
Bull setting: WDF Bull
Live View: Enabled
Automatic approval of score corrections: OFF
Both players are responsible for verifying the settings.
Any incorrect settings must be reported and corrected before the match begins.
3.8 Reporting Match Results
After every match, the result must be submitted.
📸 Procedure
1. Take a clear screenshot of the match statistics in Scolia.
2. The winner must post the screenshot in the Messenger group of the relevant division.
3. In the event of a draw, both players must agree on who will submit the screenshot.
4. The administrators will process the result and update the official standings.
The screenshot must be sufficiently clear to verify the result and relevant statistics.
A match will only be officially processed once the result has been correctly received.
4. POINTS SYSTEM AND STANDINGS
4.1 Points Allocation
Points are awarded for each completed match as follows:
Result
Points
🏆 Win
2 points
🤝 Draw
1 point
❌ Loss
0 points
The standings are updated based on correctly submitted and processed match results.
4.2 Tiebreak Rules
When two or more players finish with the same number of points, their ranking will be determined using the following criteria, in order:
1. Leg Difference
The difference between the total number of legs won and legs lost.
2. Head-to-Head Result
The result of the match played between the players concerned.
3. Deciding Match
If the above criteria do not determine the ranking, the organisation may arrange a deciding match.
The administrators will determine the match format and any applicable deadline.
5. SANCTIONS AND DISCIPLINARY MEASURES
5.1 Matches Not Played Within the Deadline
Every player is responsible for arranging and completing their matches within the required timeframe.
If a match is not played before the deadline and no approved postponement has been arranged, the organisation may decide to:
Assign an NP to the responsible player.
Award a forfeit loss.
Award no points to either player if neither has made sufficient effort to arrange the match.
The administrators will assess each situation based on the available information and communication.
⚠️ Two NPs result in removal from the competition.
5.2 Unsportsmanlike Conduct
The following behaviour may result in disciplinary action:
Insulting or threatening other players or administrators.
Deliberately manipulating scores or results.
Repeatedly violating the competition regulations.
Misusing score corrections.
Intentionally obstructing or disabling Live View.
Deliberately sabotaging or disrupting matches.
Any other behaviour that compromises the fairness or integrity of the competition.
Depending on the severity of the offence, the organisation may impose the following sanctions:
1. An official warning.
2. A forfeit loss or NP.
3. Temporary suspension.
4. Permanent removal from the competition.
In cases of serious misconduct, immediate removal may be imposed.
5.3 Exclusion and Participation Ban
A player who withdraws early or is removed from the competition may be excluded from participating for the following four seasons, in accordance with Article 1.3.
Upon removal, all results achieved by the player will be deleted, including the corresponding results and statistics of their opponents.
The organisation will assess any exceptional circumstances and determine whether the participation ban applies.
6. FINAL PROVISIONS
6.1 Amendments to the Regulations
The organisation reserves the right to amend these regulations whenever necessary to ensure a fair, safe and smooth competition.
Important changes will be communicated to all players in a timely manner.
6.2 Unforeseen Circumstances
Situations not explicitly covered by these regulations will be reviewed by the administration team.
The administrators will make decisions in the best interests of the competition, taking fairness, reasonableness and equal treatment into account.
6.3 Impartiality of Administrators
Some administrators also participate in the competition as players.
To prevent conflicts of interest, administrators are not permitted to make decisions regarding disputes or disciplinary matters within their own division.
Such cases will be handled by other administrators who are not directly involved.
6.4 Final Decisions
Decisions made by the administration team are based on the available facts, communication and supporting evidence.
The organisation aims to apply the regulations fairly and consistently at all times.
