1.1 Competition Overview
The R&R Online Darts Competition is about to start the new season. Our competition consists of multiple groups, divided across 4 divisions plus the -45 League. The Premier League is the highest level.
1.2 New Players Welcome
We always keep a waiting list open for new players who wish to join. Sign up in the group and message one of the admins; they will add you to the list. We ask for clear communication, one match per week, and respect for everyone.
1.3 Early Withdrawal of Players
If a player withdraws early from the competition, all their played matches and results are deleted. A player who leaves early is not allowed to participate for the next four seasons. After this period, they may rejoin the waiting list, regardless of the reason for withdrawal.
1.3.1 Replacement in Case of Early Withdrawal
Only in the lowest divisions (Division 3 and Division 4), players who leave within the first two weeks of the season will be replaced by someone from the waiting list.
If there are no players on the waiting list, or if they decline participation, the open spot will be replaced with a bye.
When a new player joins, all scheduled matches against this player must still be played — even if you already played against the opponent who left the league.
1.4 Fair Play
We rely on the integrity of our players.
If you suspect unfair play or incorrect results, first try to solve it together. If that fails, contact an admin.
Admins cannot actively monitor webcams. Our advice: always record your match with both video and sound. If a dispute arises, this can be sent to an admin for review. Especially if you suspect (intentional or unintentional) cheating, recording is highly recommended. Without recordings, we cannot act.
1.5 Definition of NP (Not Played)
When a player fails to show up, it will be registered as NP in the standings. A second NP results in the player being removed from the league, with all results (including opponents’) being voided, and the player being replaced by a bye.
1.6 Contact & Support
For questions, support, or clarification you can always contact the admins via Messenger:
Chieltje Dijkhof (NL), Jacqueline Geel (NL&EN), Melford Barnes (EN), Robin Nolten (NL&EN), Robin Vinci (NL&EN), Ainslee Pauwels (NL&EN).
2.1 Divisions and Leagues
The competition consists of:
Premier League
Division 1
Division 2
Division 3
Division 4
-45 League
2.2 Promotion and Relegation
In the standings:
Green = promotion
Red = relegation
3.1 Code of Conduct
Always show respect toward admins and fellow players, follow the rules, and use appropriate language.
During matches, it is mandatory to keep both camera and microphone on, so both players can see and hear each other. This ensures transparency and fair play.
3.2 Match Schedule
Each player will be added to their division’s Facebook Messenger group, where the schedule is shared and weekly appointments are made.
A scheduled match may be canceled, but only if done at least 90 minutes before the agreed time.
We apply a 30-minute grace period: if you agreed to play at 20:00 and your opponent is not there, you must wait at least 30 minutes before a forfeit can be given. Only with a valid reason can an exception be made.
If you have planned holidays, inform the admins. We can adjust this administratively and, after approval, allow you to play matches in advance. The same applies to temporary unavailability due to holidays, illness, injuries, or other personal circumstances.
Matches must be played within two weeks of the scheduled week. Example: Week 1 must be completed by the end of Week 2, Week 4 by the end of Week 5, etc.
3.2.1 Rescheduled Matches
If a match cannot be played within the two-week deadline, both players are required to set a new date before the original deadline expires.
This new date may be further in the future but must be agreed upon in time.
The new appointment must be reported to one of the admins.
Admins will register this in the administration and track compliance.
3.3 Number of Legs per Division
Premier League – Best of 18 (First to 10 or 9-9)
Division 1 – Best of 16 (First to 9 or 8-8)
Division 2 – Best of 14 (First to 8 or 7-7)
Division 3 – Best of 12 (First to 7 or 6-6)
Division 4 – Best of 10 (First to 6 or 5-5)
-45 League – Best of 6 (First to 4 or 3-3)
3.4 Dartboards
Only standard dartboards are allowed.
3.5 Match Platform
All matches are played via Nakka. One of the two players creates the match on the platform.
3.6 Reporting Results
At the end of each match, one of the two players must take a clear photo of the statistics. This photo must be uploaded in the group chat of the division. The admins will then process the results in the Excel standings.
4.1 Points
Win = 2 points
Draw = 1 point
Loss = 0 points
4.2 Tie-Break
The standings are determined first by total points.
If players are tied, the following criteria apply in order:
Leg difference (won legs minus lost legs)
Head-to-head result
If still tied, a deciding match (rematch)
5.1 Failure to Play Within the Deadline
If matches are not played in time, the organization may:
Award a loss to one player
Award no points to either player
On a second NP, the player is removed from the league, all results are voided, and they are replaced by a bye.
5.2 Unsportsmanlike Conduct
Unacceptable behavior, disrespect, or repeated violations can lead to sanctions, including removal.
5.3 Early Withdrawal
See article 1.3.
The organization reserves the right to establish additional rules to ensure fair and smooth competition. Any changes will be communicated to all players in time.
In unforeseen situations, the admins have the final say and will make decisions in the best interest of the competition.
Admins also participate in the competition, but they have no say in the division they are playing in, to avoid any form of bias.
On behalf of the entire R&R Online Darts team, we wish all players the best of luck and lots of fun in Season 12. 🎯
Play fair, respect each other, and enjoy the matches — together we’ll make it another fantastic season!
